Gotta love the radical right! Christian Honey Boo-Boo of\u00a0Rowan County who won\u2019t issue marriage licenses for fear of getting sodomy all over her, is a hero for dragging her religion into the workplace and denying gheys their civil rights based upon her beliefs as a fringe Apostolic Evangelical. The New Pope keeps using the word “dialogue,” and saying he wants to “build bridges,” almost like he thinks we should talk to each other instead of just bombing each other. Doesn’t New Pope know that’s\u00a0not <\/em>what Reagan would do? Republicans insist that The New\u00a0Pope sit down and shut up and not mix religion and politics by discussing poverty or refugees or the damage from climate change.<\/p>\n

Let that sink in for a minute while you weigh the scope of the hypocrisy necessary to hold those two ideas simultaneously…One is a bigoted backwoods bumpkin who thinks her religious beliefs trump the Constitution and she is praised and adored for her defiant, prideful preening for the cameras while Eye of the Tiger plays in the background. The other is the Holy See, leader of 1.2 billion Catholics worldwide who endeavors to live of the teachings of Jesus through humility, compassion and grace; caring for the least of us- the poor, the sick, the displaced, those in need. Yet the haters flock to the bigot, while they shun and chastise the man who champions helping those in need- because he’s “politicizing” issues by daring to address social injustices.<\/p>\n

Surreal, isn’t it, \u00a0listening to a group assclowns that have made a living off using religion as a political Billy club, complaining that the Pope is out of line talking about political issues? Did any of these cockroaches tune in to that last debate? Every one of those assholes clamoring for the GOP nomination had a raging biblical hard-on. They even have a Baptist minister running, who claims “Gods Law” supersedes the constitution! And out of all <\/em>the religious leaders to attack, they chose the freaking\u00a0POPE. Next they are going skin and pur\u00e9e entire litters of kittens and force feed them to a bunch of orphans.<\/p>\n

OT: Supreme Court justices John Roberts, Anthony Kennedy, Sonia Sotomayor, and Ruth Bader Ginsburg were in attendance for the Pope’s speech. Catholic justices Antonin Scalia, Samuel Alito, and Clarence Thomas were not present. Were Scalia, Alito and Thomas afraid the Pope will do an exorcism?<\/p>\n
