Bartlett, 86, is the second-oldest member of the House of Representatives and is a founding member of the Tea Party Caucus.<\/p>\n<p>Bartlett recently blasted working mothers at a campaign stop:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;This isn\u2019t the politically correct thing to say, but when we drove the mother out of the home into the workplace and replaced her with the television set, that was not a good thing.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>During the same campaign swing, Bartlett said he believed \u201cthe Information Age is just a high-tech bubble,\u201d noting \u201cYou can\u2019t eat those electrons. They won\u2019t keep the rain off your head. They won\u2019t take you anywhere.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bartlett also r<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=VhCvqQOldcg&amp;feature=player_embedded\">ecently compared <\/a>federally-issued student loans to the Holocaust.<\/p>\n<p>A graduate of primarily Seventh-day Adventis schools, Roscoe Bartlett really wanted to be a minister.
