\u201cI can\u2019t believe you haven\u2019t returned my call,\u201d Romney said on one of the voice mail messages, according to [Gold Star Mother] Stephany Kern, speaking at her Westerly,<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Rhode Island home this past Saturday. \u201cHere I am making a second call; I haven\u2019theard from you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kern did not save the messages. This is the first time she has spoken publicly about them.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Kern\u2019s son, Marine Lance Corporal Nickolas Schiavoni, was killed by an IED explosion in Iraq on November 15, 2005. […] Mrs. Kern says that many officials, including Romney and Senators John Kerry and Ted Kennedy, left messages for her the day after her son died. She felt unable to speak to anyone in those initial days. \u201cI didn\u2019t listen to any of the calls,\u201d she says.\u00a0When John Kerry and Ted Kennedy didn\u2019t get return phone calls, they reached out to family members to find out whether and when Kern might want to hear from them.<\/p>\n

Only Romney, she says, complained in a second message that she had not called back, and then\u00a0called a third <\/em>time, with each phone call growing more and more antagonistic. Stephany Kern\u2019s husband, who listened to the messages, said the Ex Governor’s tone was \u201cdisrespectful\u201d and \u201cantagonistic\u201d and that he was \u201cabsolutely inappropriate.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

If only Mr. Kerns had worked in outsourcing jobs and pillaging employee retirement accounts like Sir Mittens, he would know the difference between \u201cdisrespectful\u201d and \u201cantagonistic\u201d and “Presidential” and “classy”. \u00a0Obscenely wealthy white men are people too, you lazy mother with a dead kid.<\/p>\n
