On Tuesday \u00a0Sarah Palin Tuesday responded to CNN\u2019s unoriginal question about if she’ll run for president<\/em> in 2016 with a shrieky, “that’s a gotcha question, you caught me off guard” salad o’ words:<\/p>\n

“Eeooo…as I say, anything in this life in this world is possible. Anything is possible if you’re an American and I don’t discount any idea or plan”.<\/p>\n

Then she goes on to blather about the Limbaugh controversy via her patented\u00a0tortured labyrinth of lugubrious logic. “What hypocrisy means to me”. And you know that whenever Ms Palin\u00a0uses the construction “What (fill in the blank) means . . . to me”, she causes a tear in the space-time continuum. Here she is, caked in Bare Minerals and wearing what looks to be an official NRA flight suit:<\/p>\n

Oh, stupid Sarah. Calling Sandra Fluke a \u201cslut\u201d based on her congressional testimony is a lie based on a brutish drug addict’s altered state of consciousness – oxycontin really IS a hell of a drug, I\u2019ve taken it – and his self loathing, odious obsession with sex and simultaneous disgust with women. What\u00a0Lush Limbaugh did was to very specifically state that Sandra Fluke actually\u00a0did<\/em> certain things – namely be sexually promiscuous, thus attributing to her a motive she did not have (to make the government pay for her birth control).\u00a0Bill Maher calling Sarah Palin a “cunt” – \u00a0because she is a primordial, evil-stupid link missing way back to a level of skipped evolution which I still find bewildering – is just taking a short cut.\u00a0Although I do find\u00a0Maher’s statement misogynistic in its own right, and his choice of words gross, it was an abstract expression of irritation and exasperation. This is different: “she’s a slut, because she has sex, all the time, with lots of guys”. \u00a0Had Bill Maher come out and said “Sarah Palin is an intelligent and thoughtful woman, with many reasonable ideas that can do much to further the political discourse of our nation’s people”, then<\/em> we would have comparable lies with how Rush falsely categorized Sandra Fluke over the course of many, many hours and days. Mr Maher spewed a nasty swear to tell an undeniable truth. It’s hysterical watching Sarah and Rush blathering about how “rAAdical liberal extremists” are guilty of the same thing and more (like “attacking the “handicapped” WTF? \u00a0 – I assume she means her son who she waves around like a flag), but I don’t recall Lawrence O’Donnell and Rachel Maddow engaged in borderline slander\/wanton slut shaming. Thanks for reminding us of your contacts struggle against liberal misogyny, fuckfaces!<\/p>\n

What\u00a0The Talking Point Du Joir is that Sarah<\/em> is our shining example of a true feminist, and if she decides to run, Obama can kiss the woman’s vote goodbye. Remember when\u00a0the hillbilly snow queen was stomping around the country, anointing lady candidates like\u00a0Meg Whitman, Sharron Angle, Christine O’Donnell and Carly Fiorina, all who were eventually laughed into obscurity?\u00a0Without pretending to know who is and isn’t a “real” feminist or try and shore up some kind of feminist orthodoxy, I’m totally willing to say that Ms Palin’s statements and actions shore up male dominance and just generally bode ill for anyone who actually cares about other people’s rights to expression and to their bodies.<\/p>\n

Just when Republican Repressives were crowing about Obama not being able to motivate college students to vote, they roll out their biggest crazy to date, with their birth control and abortions and vaginal probings, and now this slut-tirade \u00a0– well, old out of touch Obama just may turn out the students after all.\u00a0Let’s see how many groups Republicans can anger and alienate:\u00a0Minorities – Check. LGBT Community – Check. Union Members – Check. Poor People – Check. Middle Class People – Check. Students – Check. Immigrants – Check.\u00a0And now a jihad against women? \u00a0There’s nothing left! It is nothing short of amazing that they can even stay competitive in the polls, which illustrates what a deeply divided nation we are. Clearly, the mere thought of a non 100% white dude leading the White House for another 4 years drives people to make choices even a literal lunatic wouldn’t make.<\/p>\n
