Seth Madej’s Equally Partisan, and Probably Better Thought out California 2012 Voting Guide!

I would go through both of these point by point but I have a 102 degree fever and my dog is in the hospital and I am literally delirious. I would probably lean towards Seth’s. I don’t know everything.

Bespeckled Mormon Harry Reid was right.  Bloomberg busted the story wide open.

Using a tax shelter called a CRUT (charitable remainder unitrust) that was held by the Church of Latter Day Saints (Mormons),  Mitt Romney was able to pay zero taxes (legally) every single year from 1996 to 2009.  Why did he stop in 2009?  Because he would make public his 2010 tax return, that is why.

This tax loophole was  killed by Congress in 1997. However those including Romney that were already using it were allowed to continue it.   The way it works, is that Romney makes a “charitable” contribution to the Church of Latter Day Saints and it goes into a trust.  Since the trust is held by the church, the money is tax  deferred.  Any capital gains, are non taxed because of the charities status.  Like an annuity, the donor gets a charitable tax deduction and an stream of cash payments.  When Romney dies, the church accepts full ownership..

Bloomsberg’s attorneys estimate as the Romneys have received these payments, the money that will potentially be left for charity has declined from at least $750,000 in 2001 to $421,203 at the end of 2011…..

Romney has refused to answer any thing on this topic.  His campaign puts out that it was all “legal”. They never use the words “moral” or “ethical” or “patriotic” or “selfless” or “Christlike”.

“Romneying” = Legally stealing from your church.

Slackers, granolas, movie stars, potheads, surfers and nerds, and also Carissa, here’s your November 6 election exceedingly partisan voter guide. I have not even attempted to paint a fair representation of each side of any debate.

Duty to Respond

Mitt Romney is History’s Greatest Monster.

by kara on November 2, 2012

In the wake of a natural disaster that swept small children away forever, our new Mormon Overlord has this to say:

“Seeing HIM with Chris Christie is Tearing me Apart”.

from New Yorker Online

DES MOINES (The Borowitz Report)—A new Mitt Romney is emerging in the closing days of the campaign, aides say: a man who is increasingly “being eaten alive with jealousy” by President Obama’s budding relationship with New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.

While Mr. Romney has told reporters that he is “totally fine” with Gov. Christie flying around in a helicopter with President Obama, privately he has told aides, “Seeing him with Chris Christie is tearing me apart.”

The trouble began earlier this week, a Romney aide said, when Mr. Romney saw Mr. Christie on CNN mention that President Obama “had given him his number at the White House.”

“Mitt was like, ‘Fine, whatever, do we have to watch this?’ and then basically ran out of the room,” the aide said. “It was completely awkward.”

Making matters worse, the aide said, “Chris Christie isn’t returning his calls.”

“Mitt was trying to explain his position on FEMA to reporters yesterday and he got all excited because his phone started vibrating,” the aide said. “It turned out it was just Ann.”

Mr. Romney, who has been seen doodling Chris Christie’s name in the margins of his briefing books in recent days, has apparently decided on a new course of action: to make the New Jersey governor jealous.

“He’s been calling [New York Governor Andrew] Cuomo,” the aide said. “But Cuomo won’t call him back either. It’s all so sad.”

God help this blessed country of ours if this beast is in charge of governing us. God help us, any one.

Halloween!
