Does it seem as if a good chunk of right-wing energy goes specifically toward “irritating liberals”? That also seems to be one of the main guides of their moral compass and also a source of getting their rocks off. Does that seem like a trait of a higher-functioning animal or some kind of recessive sub-species?
Paul Liebe (guy on the right in the photo above lol), who owns “Nitelife Billiards”, describes his new “open carry” T-shirts and polo shirts as “conversation starters” that are also intended to irritate liberals.
“Freedom of speech, it’s your right, and it just has a little kick on the side,” Liebe said.
Check out the site, it is worth it.
These dumb shirts could become the latest ironic clothing fad among hipsters. What a great way to visually mock the whole “open carry” thing than by packing pictures of guns printed on your clothing instead toting around the real thing? After all, carrying a gun only gives the bearer the illusion of security, so why not dial up the absurdity to 11 by going about in public while wearing something that is only an illusion of a gun? The wearer can therefore rightly state that his or her screen-printed shirt provides exactly the same amount of personal security as heavy three dimensional guns do. And they can be easily obtained without submitting to a background check, just like how many actual guns are obtained. What a hoot! OR, Go all the way and get an upper body tattoo that creates the illusion of wearing a shirt
So, what would the liberal counter-shirt be? A t-shirt with a bunch of text books printed under the sleeve so it looked like you were learning something? That would really piss off Republicans.
