Besides the obvious (Ulery voted for allowing guns on college campuses and dorms, in athletic stadiums and public parks and beaches, for eliminating licensing requirements for N.H. residents to own and carry firearms such as pistols and revolvers, “whether openly or concealed, loaded or unloaded; for repealing consumer protections such as price guarantees in home heating prepaid contracts; for repealing licensing requirements for professions including beauticians, massage therapists, landscape architects, etc.; against designating funds for public safety;for repealing Obamacare, etc. etc. – full list HERE ).
1. Saying the holocaust was the result of European Jewry making themselves distinct from the general population.
2. In a kick to the balls of storeowners eager to attract the business of some of the 44 million Latinos who call America home, Rep. Ulery spent taxpayer moneez introducing legislation requiring that if any shop prints a sign in any language other than in good ol’ white -American, they must also print signs in all 6 official language of the United Nations: French, English, Russian, Chinese, Spanish and Arabic.
Just WHY would an elected official waste his time and his constituent’s moneez to propose such legislation? Well, according to Ulery:
“When you do not participate in your society around you, and when you become different, you become subject to what the Nazis did to the Jews “When you establish a ghetto, you’re leaving yourself open to what happened to the Jews in Eastern Europe because you’re setting yourself up to be different.”
3. Miscellany Blue reported on an email thread, originating with a message from Rep. Jan Schmidt (D-Nashua) about gun laws. Rep Ulery’s response to the email, argued that “a small infringement” like pro-gay marriage laws or gun control laws:
“always, Always, ALWAYS lead to a greater infringement.”
It gets better:
“AND, when we were discussing same-sex marriage people said talking about multiple partners, animal interactions made those who define marriage as a relationship between man and woman as silly and foolish. Today, however, in several states multiple partners and even bestiality have been proposed or floated as extensions.”
To back up his assertion, he included links in his email to other state lawmakers with references to stories about how gay marriage could lead to “multiple partners” and “animal interactions”. The links were to several salacious stories about bestiality and polygamy, including an article on The Daily Currant titled, “Bestiality Surges Hours After New Zealand Legalizes Gay Marriage!” and another from Smash Mouth Politics titled, “Vermont Legislature considering a bill that would legalize beastiality, polygamy, etc.” (with a disclaimer from the author calling the post “a parody of what I believe will be happening in a few years.”).
“Wow, where to start here,” Rep. Tim Smith (D-Manchester) wrote back, explaining to Ulery that the stories were satire. “So … yes … talking about multiple partners and bestiality does indeed make folks look foolish,” Smith said.
4. He is a card-carrying member of an anti-immigrant hate group as designated by the Southern Poverty Law Center, the civil rights organization who Ulery demonizes. In a classic example of Orwellian blackwhite, Rep. Ulery describes the SPLC as “racist.”
“Applied to a Party member, it means a loyal willingness to say that black is white when Party discipline demands this. But it means also the ability to believe that black is white, and more, to know that black is white, and to forget that one has ever believed the contrary. This demands a continuous alteration of the past, made possible by the system of thought which really embraces all the rest, and which is known in Newspeak as doublethink.”
The Good People of New Hampshire: from the ghosts of the fisherman at Portsmouth who settled your fair land some 400 years ago, from the scolding ghost of your Captain Wiggin, and the goodly spirits of Robert Frost and Daniel Webster, the abolitionists and John P Hale….for the love of God, get a grip. Look before you vote and do not let human men like Jordan Ulery in to office in your fine State. For, I do not trust this man. I hope he does not have children or own pets. I think Obama should release the high-resolution spysat photos of him from his NSA file.
