Check it out, the slice of cake is sitting on top of the fucking parfait. I’t’s so beautiful, it’s like a Wayne Thiebaud painting.I love the unapologetic nature of this, the disproportionally giant hunk of cake sitting there atop the parfait like IT is the main part of the dessert. According to the article, the restaurant doesn’t even celebrate or flaunt this chimeric dessert, it is shoved in the back of the the display case, behind soda bottles, as if it isn’t even a thing.
