IS This in Fact………………………………………………. THE MOST HORRIFYING BOOK EVER WRITTEN?

Most horrifying?

My sister just dug this up, she claims while doing research for a “Target Ad”. It’s from a site called Evilbook.Org. Not exactly sure how one would get to that by doing research of any kind other than research that which would require googling “evil book” or “the most evil book ever,” but in any case, I have read the background and history and still have absolutely no idea what anybody is talking about other than Oriuagor is a rare name for Antichrist, it’s Danish therefore already terrifying, and it’s some sort of extremely repulsive and horrifying occult thing. These are excerpts from the site – Enter the site at your own risk:

This site deals with the most hideous book ever to have been written by any human. It is strongly advised to proceed only if you really want to know the details and feel safe you can stand up to it without loosing your sanity!

According to legend a diabolical book was published in 1732. Large, heavy and wrapped in rough blue leather it was said to be the most evil and terrifying book ever written. It was called Oriuagor: The One who Waits but was more commonly referred to as The Prophecy of Oriuagor. It predicts the future of Mankind as ruled by Antichrist. Contemporary records seem to confirm that many a poor soul died attempting to read it. Most went irretrievably insane. An untold number of copies were burned or otherwise destructed. Still most modern scholars consider it all a myth.

My friend has found out that the parapsychologist indeed, who for now wishes to remain anonymous, for some time has been searching for the book without any luck. But in consequence of sheer coincidence he learned a short while ago, that the foliant suddenly had turned up in the hands of a local bookseller. The owner of the bookshop, Mr. Alon Oshim, maintains that it was brought in from the estate of a deceased Irish Squire, who had called himself Hippolytes O’Riuagor.

Perhaps some mysteries may not be investigated.

This is SO scary:

A secret photograph of one of the shapes that was found unexpectedly in the hospitals central laboratory. They stand about 20 cetimeters weighing approx. 36 grammes (published without permission).

This is absolutely the best part:

A painting of the Irish Squire claimed to have owned ”The Prophecy of Oriuagor”, but I have not been able to verify this.

About kara

We know our letters just fine, and we know our numbers to a certain point, but books were always the realm of four-eyed poindexters with bowler hats and cravats. That’s why it pleases us so that America’s proud illiterates are finally stepping up and pushing back against the crushing tide of education that threatens to swallow us all into its gaping maw of checked facts. Champions of the Ignorantiat will not like it here.
